Rob Kidd Recognized for Technical Writing

The Forest Resources Association’s Appalachian Region honored Rob Kidd with its First Place Technical Writing Award for 2019.
The Forest Resources Association and STIHL Incorporated honored Donald “Butch” Glotfelty and Eric Glotfelty of Glotfelty Lumber Co., Inc. in Oakland, Maryland, as the Appalachian Region 2019 Outstanding Logger at FRA’s Appalachian Region (AR) Awards Dinner in Washington, DC on September 18.
Nearly every forested state in the U.S. has Logger Training and Education (LT&E) Programs. Since the 1990s, most of these comprehensive training programs have offered both loggers and wood procurement personnel continuing education opportunities covering a variety of timber harvesting topics.
