Resources

Resource Management Service (RMS) is proud to have been recognized earlier this year by three of our most valued partners for our work on longleaf pine restoration, for being a top employer within the forest management sector, and for providing important advocacy leadership and support to the private forest landowner community.
FRA’s 2020 Virtual Fall Board Meeting, October 14-16, drew over 100 members and an additional 110 Emerging Leaders for educational speaker sessions, committee business, and the governance decisions that will guide the Association forward.
National Forest Products Week begins next week, and FRA is excited to celebrate a world-class wood supply chain. Please join us October 18-24 to recognize the forest products industry. This year’s National Forest Products Week takes on added significance due to our industry being deemed as an essential business during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A few weeks ago, I was invited to speak to forestry students at the University of Maine about forest markets and the interconnection of the supply chain. It was a valuable experience for me (and hopefully for the students), and something all FRA members should consider doing.
