FRA Southeastern Region

southeastThis FRA Region, managed by Rick Meyer and extending from Florida through eastern Virginia, is comprised of members who grow, harvest, transport, and/or consume fiber, primarily for delivery to sawmills, plywood plants, OSB mills, pulp and paper mills, and wood-energy facilities. Current issues of emphasis are logging and trucking capacity, wood fiber availability, and woody biomass energy development. The region hosts a two-day Annual Meeting, usually in the spring.
