ELMIA
WOOD 2009
Every four years, Sweden’s Elmia organization hosts the world’s largest
forestry demo fair, most recently (2005) drawing 50,050 visitors from
around the world, to view live harvesting demos and displays from 538
exhibitors on a 375-acre forested site near Jönköping.
The 2009 Elmia Wood Fair will be staged Wednesday through Saturday, June
3-6, near Jönköping, Sweden, at the same forested site as the 2005 Fair,
with shuttle service provided from your choice of several types of
lodgings in the area. A one-day
Pre-Show
Conference on harvesting residues and slash will precede the Wood
Fair, on Tuesday, June 2 (separate
registration necessary).
English is the official language, of the June 2 Slash Conference and the
June 3-6 Wood Fair.

Elmia’s
Travel and Accommodation page presents options for traveling to
